You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Office of the Judge Advocate General, Commander, Naval Legal Service Command of RLSO JAPAN UNIT 5 GUAM.
Duties
You will be responsible for providing assistance to the attorneys and other staff members and the day-to-day management of all administrative matters within their office.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day client intake, appointment scheduling, and case file management associated with the provision of legal services.
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts for all incoming contacts and maintain a positive working relationship with all personnel, callers, and visitors.
You will be responsible for general office duties, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records and files, drafting documents, scanning, photocopying, etc.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience collecting data to accurately schedule appointments
Experience managing records and document control services/databases including legal/case files
Experience preparing documents, filings, and case correspondence
Experience preparing and managing periodic reports and case filings/status updates for client files

1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
