You will serve as a Mission Support Specialist for the Disability Evaluation System Counsel Program of NLSC.
Duties
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts to the Department.
You will independently control and manage all incoming correspondence using established office procedures and knowledge of the organization.
You will conduct initial client intake and schedule appointments.
You will maintain records, files, and reports in accordance with controlling guidance.
You will prepare purchase/service order requests.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping me with knowledge of administrative office practices and procedures. Specialized experience includes most or all of the following: 1) Composing documents and reports while following administrative processes and instructions; 2) Using an electronic case management system or database to create and maintain case files, schedule appointments, and ensure deadlines are met; 3) Conducting client intake to ascertain needs and collect relevant case documents; 4) Maintaining processes to ensure client privacy and protect client information; and 5) Using computer software such as Adobe Pro and MS Office Suite to create, edit, organize, or mark documents.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
OR
1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
