About the Position: Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist with responsibility for performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support the National Logistics Coordination Office.

Duties

Performs analysis of Field Level Maintenance (FLM) workload, with a major focus on workload schedule, repair cost, production performance and resources including all expended man-hours from both contract/organic resources. Utilize the Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) and local methodologies to resolve issues related to Life Cycle Management and sustainment maintenance production required to support the Army. Review policies/regulations associated with the maintenance obligation authority.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 20% of the time.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
