About the Position: This is an Administrative Support Assistant, GS-0303-07 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Tulsa District, and located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Duties
Consolidate a variety of analyses of administrative or management data and provide required reports and recommendations
Central contact point to provide authoritative explanations of requirements, regulations, and procedures to resolve operating problems or disagreements affecting assigned areas and provides administrative support to the Office Chief.
Make travel arrangements to include preparing and submitting travel orders and vouchers in the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS)
Serves as the Training Coordinator for the Division/Office functioning as the sole contact for training activities for assigned employees.
Reviews records of subordinate branch and sections to insure property records are accurate and adequate
Serves as timekeeper for branch or division office, monitoring employees’ timecards to ensure that time has been entered correctly.
Receive and screen telephone and personal inquiries relative to activities of the office
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% or less.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing 2 out of the 3 following duties: 1) tracking expenditures for an office budget using an automated financial management system; OR 2) consolidating or preparing data for reports; OR 3) performing administrative support duties for an office, such as property record maintenance, training coordination, and tracking personnel actions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
