You will serve as a AIRCRAFT FREIGHT LOADER SUPERVISOR in the Freight Division of NAVAL AIR TERMINAL.
Duties
You will assemble cargo and mail for each flight based on load planning guidance received from an air terminal operation department.
You will balance load by shifting cargo from one compartment to another in accordance with specifications for aircraft type.
You review load plan to verify incompatible cargoes are not loaded in the same aircraft.
You will supervise work leaders and aircraft freight loaders.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Independently performing a wide-range of special handling terminal/warehousing activities(e.g receiving, inspecting, storing, selecting, shipping and preparing originating hazardous, explosive, ammunition and other shipments requiring special handling for onward movement). 2) Inspects hazardous materials, explosives, ammunition, special cargo documentation and packaging in accordance with applicable DOD, AF, AMC and civilian directives. 3) Performs comprehensive inventories ensuring the protection of resources and executes a broad range of specific storage assignments as directed by Navy, AF, and Civilian directives. 4) Performs tasks involved in receiving and shipping items. 5) Drives one or more types of vehicles/equipment, such as pickups, vans, forklifts, flatbed trucks, and aircraft cargo loaders, which typically have a gross vehicle weight up to 126,000 pounds.
