The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center (AC) serves as the Army's technology leader for armament systems. DEVCOM AC ensures dominance of Army capabilities by researching, developing, integrating and delivering technology-enabled armament solutions to our Warfighters. Armaments Center has a long tradition as the primary research and development center for new and existing armament systems which are in use by U.S. service members around the world.

Duties

Participates in formal and informal meetings conferences, committees, and seminars with representatives of other functional areas, managers, and representatives of other/higher command, industry and academia. Assigns work to team members and reviews work products. Solves day-to-day technical problems to assure timely and successful project completion. Applies comprehensive knowledge of the administrative laws, policies, regulations, and precedents applicable to the administration of one or more important administrative/business programs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • Three-year probationary period may be required.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
