This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will Serve as a Program Manager for Environmental programs actions within the Pacific Ocean Division (POD) region.

Duties

Ensure that all required project and/or program actions are properly staffed and coordinated, thus assuring timely and quality assessment at all stages of the program development and review process. Make assignments of a very broad and general nature covering long range program plans, objectives and policies relating to Environmental programs and projects. Establish work objectives based on program guidance, interagency agreements and guidelines.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 20%.
