About the Position: Works under the very broad direction of the Chief, Military Integration Division, with delegated technical and programmatic authority for accomplishment of assigned work. Referrals to the supervisor are generally limited to problems requiring establishment of a precedent or modification of major policy.

Duties
Serve as a Senior Program Manager for all military programs in Alaska District (POA), Honolulu District (POH), Japan District (POJ), and Far East District (POF).
Ensure appropriate management controls are in place to achieve quality products.
Apply a wealth of technical and project management knowledge to achieve scheduling, funding and program goals and to ensure use of optimum approaches which meet project criteria.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Travel may be required approximately 35% of the time.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which includes experience in planning and managing programs and projects involving the performance of engineering, environmental design, construction, and quality assurance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
