You will serve as the Supervisory Principal Deputy Program Manager for the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) Program Office, PMA230, under PEO FOR TACT A/C.
Duties
You will assemble a team to handle program or technology design problems.
You will coordinate agreements for staffing or funding reimbursements to maintain financial commitments for projects within a program.
You will direct the actions and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams to achieve program goals and milestones.
You will deliver oral presentations to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, or convey information about proposed program changes.
You will develop long-range management plans for program implementation, evaluation, and administration.
You will create strategic resource planning efforts to sustain operations across an enterprise.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A Level 4-ADVANCED. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: SPECIALIZED. Examples of; 1) Direct and supervise the execution of all work efforts necessary to meet the requirements specified in the program charter and other authorizing documents from higher authority. 2) analyze needs and requirement information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. 3) Identify program office and competency area support needed to meet assigned program requirements. 4) direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost schedule and performance objectives. 5) apply the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues..
