Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Student Trainee (Administrative), you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to optimize business results and customer experience by: Assisting senior staff with routine program support tasks, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of meetings; maintenance and distribution of publications and meeting materials. Assisting with developing memoranda, letters, reports, background papers and talking points for speeches or briefings. Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: Be in good academic standing and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA (cumulative) for an undergraduate degree program or at least a 3.0 GPA in a professional master's degree program. For GS-04:Have completed (two) full academic years of post high school study or an associate's degree. For GS-05:Have completed 4 academic years of post high school study leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree. Pathways Internship Eligibility:

1) Be currently enrolled or accepted for enrollment and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) in an accredited college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, technical, vocational, and trade school; advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate on a full or half-time basis.

2) Maintain good academic standing of at least a 2.5 GPA (cumulative) for an undergraduate degree program and 3.0 GPA for a professional master's degree program.

NOTE: You MUST provide proof that you are currently enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment in the next academic term on a full-time or part-time basis.

Special Instructions for Foreign Education: If you are using education completed at foreign colleges or universities to meet qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by an accredited private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program.
