About the Position: Coordinates Chaplain Services/Program Support: Serves as a management representative for a variety of Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Religious Observances/Worship Services/Ceremonies in support of the HQDA Pentagon Chaplain's Office.

Duties

Report directly to the Deputy Military District of Washington (MDW) Chaplain. Manage and implement support of religious observances (National Day of Prayer, Monthly Prayer Breakfast, High Holy Days, etc.). Provide administrative support to the Chaplain. Ensure actions are completed properly and in accordance with established suspense dates. Coordinate support requirements for chaplain pastoral counseling. Evaluate operating procedures, administrative controls, and report systems used by staff in order to develop and improve work processes. Refine methods, procedures, and reporting systems.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience such as includes providing administrative support to the Religious Support Directorate by coordinating, planning, evaluating, and supporting the Chaplain services, program activities and operating procedures. Formulate plans and prioritizes the use of available resources to support the chaplain's staff and families. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementCustomer ServiceOral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
