You will serve as a Paralegal Specialist in the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) of RLSO SE JACKSONVILLE.
Duties
You will analyze and evaluate case files, correspondence, and other legal documents against case litigation worthiness standards and determine sufficiency of materials for needed actions.
You will prepare standard legal documentation, correspondence, and forms in the correct assembly, format, and grammar for use in legal proceedings.
You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of case files.
You will perform legal research and analysis to formulate appropriate legal positions.
You will review cases in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and precedents.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying knowledge of interpreting a body of law and related rules, regulations, and policies applicable to varying situations. Examples of specialized experience may include: (1) Examining legal correspondence, pleadings, and documents to verify factual and legal content in preparation for court proceedings; (2) Preparing, maintaining, and managing client case files within a case management system for courts-martial or administrative separation boards; (3) Conducting legal research, investigation, interviews, and other forms of information gathering to make recommendations on legal proceedings; and (4) Developing formal presentations, trainings, or reference material regarding legal or administrative procedures for an organization.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degreeor2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
