About the Position: This is a permanent position is with the Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Military Programs, Installation Readiness.

Duties

Provides technical support to sub-communities of practice within the other Communities of Practice. Sponsors conferences, seminars, workshops, and training sessions to ensure adequate policy and technology transfer within all disciplines relating to installation planning for DoD. Provides guidance to Major Subordinate Commands and stakeholders on conformance with planning practice criteria and policy. Monitor state-of-the-art developments in the planning profession and recommends the use of innovative techniques and analyses. Utilizes expertise to transfer technology to develop and/or advance installation planning practices and applications within the agency.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer ServiceOral CommunicationPlanning and EvaluatingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
