This position is in the Office of Civil Rights within the Federal Transit Administration. As a Program Analyst (non-IT), you will serve as a Regional Civil Rights Officer to promote and expand civil rights protections for the transit-riding public. You will serve as an expert technical resource, and build and maintain cooperative, proactive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple states, including transit agencies and state, local, and tribal governments.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Experience applying laws, regulations, or other requirements to public transit programs or projects.
Experience analyzing, evaluating, or investigating issues and developing and recommending solutions that advance accessibility, equity, or equal protections.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
