Incumbent serves as a management and program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned.

Duties

Assignments cover one or more of the following functional areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and records and information management); and business management.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Position may be extended, terminated, or made permanent without further competition.

Qualifications

To Qualify at the FG-12 (FV-H) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-11 or FV-G level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience:Collecting, analyzing, organizing data; planning, scheduling, and conducting analyses/studies of proposed programs.Resolving issues within major problem areas.Developing and maintaining financial tracking systems.Monitoring expenditure and developing reports; creating spreadsheets.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Applicants may be asked to verify information on your application for employment with the FAA.
