Duties
Serves as first level of contact for guest service issues. Resolves guest issues in a timely manner and determines whether to escalate to General Manager as needed. Assist General Manger with daily managerial duties to include assisting with interviewing, hiring and training new team members. Oversees all aspects of front-of-the house operations, to include the check-in and check-out process, ensuring that it is swift, efficient and pleasant. Performs front desk operations, to include assigned shifts. Oversees guest departure process, ensuring accounts are properly charged, correct statements are provided and ensuring a 100% Positive Guest Experience. Keeps track of inventory and orders supplies related to guest services and ensures hotel amenities are available and ready for guests. Responsible for control of cash boxes.

Qualifications
Three or more years in guest services experience in a lodging operation, one year having been at a supervisory level. Strong professional communication skills, including ability to provide outstanding customer service, maintain positive employee relations and effectively train team members. Knowledge of safety procedures. Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software, Property Management System (PMS). Knowledge of Nonappropriated Funds (NAF) policies and procedures preferred. The ability to stand and walk throughout 8 hour shifts. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
