Duties

Develop the installation level Antiterrorism/Force Protection plans and supporting documents. Review plans for new post facilities for compliance with force protection standards. Serve as a member of the Force Protection Fusion Cell/Threat Working Group and advisor to the installation Crisis Management Team Recommend modification to existing Critical Assests, Mission Essential Vulnerable Area and High Risk Target structures to reduce vulnerability to terrorist attack. Coordinate with various staff offices to ensure modifications affecting the programs are understood, disseminated and implemented.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Evaluating an Antiterrorism program to ensure adherence of established regulations, developing plans that provide guidance on preventing and/or reacting to terrorist attacks, planning Antiterrorism Assessments such as risk management, criticality assessments and vulnerability assessments in support of exercises and oversee the execution of required Antiterrorism exercises. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailManages and Organizes InformationOral CommunicationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
