About the Position: Serves as project manager responsible for overall project planning, execution, control and closure of civil works projects associated with flood risk management, navigation, hydropower, environmental,recreation, disaster response and recovery, work for others, water supply, special projects and other civil works related activities.
Duties
Manages all aspects of project initiation and planning in accordance with the USACE Project Delivery Business Process.
Leads multi-disciplinary project delivery teams that may include external members in the development of project management plans.
Ensures plans are coordinated with contributing agencies, organizations and stakeholders, including various functional elements within and outside the District.
Develops scope and requirements based on the charter, corporate decisions, stakeholder needs, policy, and board guidance.
Develops schedules with key milestones and budget to deliver each assigned project.
Oversees the development of quality management plans to ensure the project and deliverables meet technical/engineering, policy and legal requirements.
Manages all aspects of project execution and control in accordance with the USACE Project Delivery Business Process.
Implements quality management plans to verify project and required deliverables meet scope, policy, legal and quality requirements as well as sponsor/stakeholder needs.
Requirements

Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience in the Federal service which includes: Serve as a technical lead or project manager for one or more civil works, interagency, intragovernmental, or military construction projects. Assist in the planning and oversight of cost and schedule execution of the planning, design, and/or construction of project in coordination with other functional elements. Monitor project performance and report on the status of project against established milestones and objectives to assure the attainment of goals and objectives. Lead the development and implementation of Project Management Plans (PMP).
