You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the LABOR ANALYSIS BRANCH of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will generate payroll, time and labor data from a financial management system. You will advise customers on payroll accounting system administration. You will brief senior level leaders on the progress achieved toward meeting financial or budgetary objectives. You will develop solutions for resolving conflict between program and financial objectives. You will write standard operating procedures (SOPs) in compliance with accounting and financial regulations.

• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

Qualifications

FOR GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Serves as the customer service representative for SLDCADA and DCPS; 2) Runs weekly reports to ensure the accuracy of time and attendance data each PPE; 3) Interprets and enforces regulatory guidance, advise customers and supported Echelon Commands; and 5) Coordinates with HR, Personnel and DFAS to resolve pay issues, by submitting and following up on Remedy Tickets. FOR GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Serves as the customer service representative for SLDCADA and DCPS; 2) Runs weekly reports to ensure the accuracy of time and attendance data each PPE; 3) Interprets and enforces regulatory guidance, advise customers and supported Echelon Commands; 5) Coordinates with HR, Personnel and DFAS to resolve pay issues, by submitting and following up on Remedy Tickets; 6) Maintain the SLDCADA system, check-in/out employees, perform pay audits upon request, and decode financial pay history data; and 7) Trains subordinates on processes as required. I have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.
OR
I have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
OR
I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.,
OR
I have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
