Duties
The U.S. Secret Service is seeking retired (CSRS/FERS) individuals to support our integrated mission and immediately impart their knowledge and experience to the current workforce. If re-employed under a dual compensation pay waiver, annuitants are able to earn their full salary and their full annuity without penalty.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation.
Qualifications
Specialized experience:
You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $117,962) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level performing duties such as: instructing to include practical exercises and scenario-based training in real-world environments in techniques of counter surveillance, threat evaluation, and mitigation analysis; designing, developing, and executing work processes for instructional courses and practical application; providing instruction on protective advances, perimeter security, and physical protection procedures; and observing, monitoring, and evaluating student behavior, response, and progress.
