Duties
Directs the accomplishment of a variety of functions that involve Procurement, Technical/Quality Assurance, and
Planning processes.
Oversees the work of functional specialists and support personnel responsible for accomplishing a wide range of
acquisition and logistics management functions.
Supervises the Integrated Acquisition/Supply Team

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Integrated Acquisitions/Supply Team Chief, your resume and supporting documentation must
support:
A. Basic Contracting Requirement: A.) A baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to
grant baccalaureate degrees OR B.) a current civilian employee in DoD or member of the Armed Forces, who
occupied an 1102 position, contracting officer position, or comparable military contracting position with authority to
award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold on or before September 30, 2000 are
excluded from the requirements of "A" above.
B. Contracting Officer Requirement: Must possess at least two years of experience in a contracting position.
C. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to
successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13
level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under
other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements
including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum
qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable
specialized experience includes:
Working in a logistics team function which has an impact on the acquisition research/development, production, testing, and delivery of commodities, equipment services, and programs for global customer base.
Leading others and or performing work across the disciplines of contracting, supply planning, technical, and quality assurance.
Completing the procurement of centrally managed items for DoD requirements that support the worldwide needs of the military services.
Conducting special projects and studies in Supplier Operations Functional areas.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
