Duties
Leads and plans work to be accomplished by team members; sets priorities and establishes schedules for work completion.
Leads and serves on special task forces, projects, and Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) at the L and M, Headquarters, and DOD levels and reviews current and future customer and supplier support issues, plans, and concepts
Serves as action/staff officer in preparation of key events with a wide variety of adhoc duties and assists higher headquarters and/or L and M Leadership with after event requests from key industry leaders at the executive level.
Oversees all aspects of executive engagement with vendors and oversees organization, implementation, and outcomes of the annual Supply Chain Supplier Conference for both DLA L and M and DLA Aviation.
Coordinates with DLA Aviation to plan current and long-range objectives for program areas through consideration of all legal authorities, changes in official policy, operating officials’ views, program information, and analysis activities.
Develops management improvement studies regarding conference outcomes and findings and interprets and clarifies policies, procedures, and monitoring techniques to all levels of management.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Business and Industry Engagement Administrator, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
- Leading strategic high level multi-function teams that develop strategies to combine current and emerging capabilities in the supply industry
- Knowledge of a wide variety of acquisition and logistics principles, policies, and program requirements
- Planning, organizing, and managing large key events in coordination with other authorities
- Advising leadership on unusually difficult or controversial aspects of issues
- Performing industry research and assessment, and developing presentations, briefings, and written reports of findings
