Duties
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts to the division.
You will independently manage the Divisions Task Management System.
You will respond to routine and highly technical requests for information such as status reports, suspense dates for matters requiring regulatory compliance, and similar information readily available in files and databases.
You will independently control and manage all incoming correspondence using established office procedures and knowledge of Navy correspondence.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of personnel security records in accordance with controlling guidance and submits timely and accurate periodic reports to the Supervisor.
You will review, prepare, store, and distribute security files.
You will be responsible for submitting various weekly, monthly, and annual reports to the supervisor.
You will maintain and order supplies for office equipment and serve as a liaison with equipment vendors/contractors.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping me with knowledge of common administrative office practices and procedures related to most of the following: correspondence, maintaining records, files, mail and/or reports, utilizing databases, and customer service. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Responding to routine and highly technical requests for information; 2) Utilizing various databases to store, maintain, and track files; 3) Using word processing systems, databases and personal computers for date entry, storage and retrieval of security and files; 4) Communicating orally and in writing.
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping me with knowledge of common administrative office practices and procedures related to most of the following: correspondence, maintaining records, files, mail and/or reports, utilizing databases, and customer service. Examples of specialized experience may include the following: 1) Responding to routine and highly technical requests for information; 2) Utilizing various databases to store, maintain, and track files; 3) Using word processing systems, databases and personal computers for date entry, storage and retrieval of security and files; 4) Researching, evaluating, and coordinating information to identify and verify all relevant facts in a particular file; 5) Communicating orally and in writing.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-07:
Successful completion of bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
OR
1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
GS-09:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.B. or J.D., if related
