About the Position: Serve as Project Management Specialist for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of specified projects for the Mission Support Office.

Duties

Provide technical support, staff assistance, and identifies the resources required to successfully accomplish project requirements. Implement corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations and policy in the development and management of the projects. Evaluate impacts to projects from policy changes, resource availability and allocation, and integrated schedules, determines risk, and develops options and recommendations for management’s consideration. Review contract performance for compliance with instructions and guidelines, adherence to Army Regulations, USACE policies, and applicable manuals and directives. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, presentations, and status briefings.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
• Incumbent is required to obtain a Contractor Officer Representative (COR) Type B certification within one year of appointment, per the DoDI 5000.72.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
