About the Position: Serve as Subsistence Supply Mnagement Office Accountable Property Officer for the Food Program Management Office.
Duties
Update files in the Subsistence Total Order Receipt Electronic System (STORES) and Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS).
Oversee the stock control, requisitions, receipt, storage, issue, inventory, programming, and review of local purchases (charge accounts) for Class I items.
Conduct causative research for both Class I and Class II requisitions within the supply system as part of inventory and stock record reconciliation process.
Monitor established contracts in support of requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a T1 NACI background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
- Business travel up to 10% is required.
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe, Food Service Contract Management II and Contracting officer's Representative Course certifications within three months of hire into this position.
- Position is subject to working weekends and/or holidays.
- Incumbent is subject to be on-call as needed.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Providing technical support for supply and property management functions; 2) Performing contract oversight to ensure compliance with contractual terms and clauses; 3) Resolving supply issues or providing alternate courses of action to resolve supply issues AND 4) Utilizing automated supply systems or software to account for and manage property or supply assets. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
