Duties

Update files in the Subsistence Total Order Receipt Electronic System (STORES) and Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS). Oversee the stock control, requisitions, receipt, storage, issue, inventory, programming, and review of local purchases (charge accounts) for Class I items. Conduct causative research for both Class I and Class II requisitions within the supply system as part of inventory and stock record reconciliation process. Monitor established contracts in support of requirements.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a T1 NACI background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
  • Business travel up to 10% is required.
  • Obtain and maintain ServSafe, Food Service Contract Management II and Contracting officer's Representative Course certifications within three months of hire into this position.
  • Position is subject to working weekends and/or holidays.
  • Incumbent is subject to be on-call as needed.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Computer SkillsContracting/ProcurementInventory ManagementSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
