Duties

As a Program Manager, at the full performance level you will perform the following duties: Monitoring and assessing the quality and effect of training/program delivery and provides coaching and feedback to ensure consistent effective performance to determine talent and leadership needs within programs. Assigning duties to permanent and detailed staff for internal and higher headquarters taskers, monitors progress and enforces established suspense deadlines. Leveraging technology to support efficient program delivery and communication, makes effective presentations to senior managers, executives, and other stakeholders. Functioning as a strategic advisor to the executive/senior management of OLCD headquarters and Leadership Development Center (LDC) - Irving regarding key organizational and management issues. Leading the Leadership and Development Team that both develop new initiatives and optimize existing programs and leverage best practices.

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Establishing and managing a managerial and non-managerial leadership development program(s) and ensuring compliance with administrative provisions and policies. Overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the program(s). Providing advice with the implementation of organization-wide goals and objectives. Developing measures that evaluate performance, make recommendations for program improvement, and manage resources. Providing oversight to a program(s) that captures information vital to senior leadership, as well as other internal and external stakeholders regarding program activities and achievements.
