Duties
As a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist, you will:
Plan and supervise the technical functions and administrative duties of the AO Grants Management Specialists.
Monitor and evaluate performance of AD Grants Management Division personnel.
Supervise the technical assistance efforts to Indian tribes and TDHEs by monitoring the division's responses to questions and the development of tailored packages to address specific needs.
Direct AO Grants Management Division in the implementation of national policies, standards, procedures and guidelines with regard to the administration of all applicable programs.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Experience interpreting, analyzing and evaluating national policy and program issues and recommending solutions to senior leadership positions (for example, elected officials, CEOs, or tribal government leaders);AND
- Leading, managing, and supervising a team tasked to oversee the technical functions and administrative duties of one or more grant programs;AND
- Facilitating working relationships among diverse groups of people; AND
- Preparing or evaluating written documentation that addresses policy or cross cutting program issues and recommending solutions.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
