Duties
As a/an Supervisory Grants Management Specialist, you will:
Respond to complex inquiries regarding Native American housing and community development program policies and procedures from members of Congress and interest groups.
Initiate and conduct technical studies in order to evaluate the effectiveness of current policies and procedures in meeting ONAP objectives and the unique concerns of designated Indian communities.
Assist in the development of comprehensive training and technical assistance programs in coordination with the National Training/TA Coordinator and the OGM.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-14 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, or equivalent, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience in ALL of the following:
Analyzing and evaluating policy and program issues and recommending solutions to senior leadership positions (for example, elected officials, CEOs, or tribal government leaders); AND
Leading, managing, and supervising a team tasked to oversee the technical functions and administrative duties of one or more grant programs; AND
Facilitating working relationships among diverse groups of people; AND
Preparing or evaluating written documentation that addresses policy or program issues.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
