This is a Pathways Recent Graduate position. The Recent Graduates Program affords developmental experiences to individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying educational institutions or programs. The employee performs a range of Program Analyst duties that are designed to enhance his/her professional knowledge. This is a one-year appointment in the excepted service which may lead, at the agency's discretion, to a time-limited or permanent appointment in the competitive service.

Qualifications

You can also qualify based on a combination of graduate level education and experience. This must be fully supported by your resume and transcripts, provided with your application.To qualify for the GS-09 on Experience, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-07 it must include: Experience in analyzing information and systems functionality, and providing technical assistance to information-systems users. Experience providing logistics support for meetings such as conferences, training sessions, focus-groups, or other high-level meetings. To qualify for the GS-09 on Education alone, you must have 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or have been awarded a master's or equivalent graduate degree. You can also qualify based on a combination of graduate education and experience. This must be fully supported by your resume and transcripts, provided with your application.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of subject area typically provided by college-level courses sufficient to perform a variety of assignments to broaden skills and gain practical experience. Ability to assist higher graded teammates in developing material for briefings, reports, presentations and conference materials. Ability to participate in meetings, events, and briefings. Skill in oral and written communication.
