About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, Transnational Directorate, Identity Intelligence Division, Charlottesville, VA. Serves as an all-source analyst specializing in Identity Intelligence Network analysis.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive all source research, analysis and fusion of traditional and non-traditional sources of information. Produce innovative, targeted all-source intelligence products for a broad set of customers, including those in the warfighter, intelligence, homeland security and policy-maker communities. Provide timely, authoritative and sound advice and recommendations on assigned functional, geographic or operational focus area through the chain of command. Serve as a team and/or project leader for assigned focus area and complex research studies, guiding the work group's analysis and production efforts. Serve as an Identity Intelligence and Networks tradecraft innovator and subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SSBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is required approximately 20% or less of the time.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• May require shift work and/or work on rotating shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, and in other situations.
