Duties
You will be responsible for receiving, entering, retrieving, analyzing and tracking investigative data across multiple case management and software systems.
You will perform life cycle investigative support management of complaints including intake, analysis, electronic and hard copy records management, status tracking and reporting, monitoring corrective action and case closeout.
You will review incoming complaints and establish electronic and/or hard copy records, enter data into case tracking and/or software system, and route complaints appropriately.
You will manage and coordinate FOIA suspense and tracking of correspondence including reports of investigation regarding Congressional inquiries.
You will prepare correspondence and reports in response to written and oral inquiries from complainants, Congress, DoD OIG, or senior DON leadership.
You will be responsible for opening new cases in case management tracking system; ensuring required documentation is uploaded and Investigative/Action Officer assigned.
You will prepare briefing slides for Division Director and Special Assistant meetings and SOI Tracker as well as reconciliation of SOI data with N4 weekly reports.
You will coordinate and obtain legal sufficiency reviews of reports of investigation.
You will collaborate closely with SOI investigators and conduct scheduled and periodic reviews of the electronic case management and software systems to screen, analyze, track, and report investigative case documentation.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of federal regulations, policies, and procedures as they apply to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and processing to determine relevant source material, establish procedures, and obtain pertinent data;
Experience performing investigative research and analyzing and evaluating data to identify and report statistical trends and patterns;
Preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports of investigation, congressional inquiries, and complainant letters; and
Communicating orally and in writing when editing investigative case information.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of federal regulations, policies and procedures, and processing information to determine relevant source material, establish procedures, and obtain pertinent data;
Experience performing investigative research;
Preparing clear, concise, and accurate documentation; and
Using computer software programs to analyze, input, and upload data.
