This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA- J6-Endpoint & Global Services/J65.
Duties
Serves at the Directorate level in J6- Endpoint and Customer Service as the J65 STRATEGY PLANS and ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR.
Serves at the Directorate level to improve business operations, enhance stability and reliability, and enable the integration of people, processes, technology, and governance to achieve consistent, disciplined, and targeted results.
Direct program integration between programs of equivalent scope and complexity within the organization. Facilitates cross staff strategic alignment and key leader decision-making.
Identifying and defining programming requirements and solutions to contemporary and future transformation issues and planning factors impacting the organization. Analyze problems associated with the development of priorities, goals, and objectives.
Incumbent leads, manages, facilitates, and conducts internal efforts to understand the J6’s strategic terrain and design, track, facilitate, and assess key leader engagements.
Oversees research and identification of new key leader engagement opportunities, designs and coordinates institutional relationships, and provides strategic engagement/communication support.
Conducts analysis to measure the effect of key strategic engagement to advise leadership regarding results, to adjust and optimize the organization’s efforts in these areas.
Oversees architecture, portfolio management, compliance, governance, and configuration management. Ensures compliance with the architecture vision and is in line with the Cybersecurity requirements.
Has management responsibility for the development of project strategies that ensure consistent tracking and content reviews as appropriate.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience directing programs with technical authority over a range of information technology disciplines, systems, and applications; with contract management; and leading research, analysis and design over core areas including information technology warfare, emerging technology, strategic trends and policy.
