About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12/13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.

Duties

Establishes the scope and extent of the logistic support for both Army and other user services. Coordinates, provides updates to, and prepares Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARPs). Analyzes and modifies the contributions of the various functional areas. Reviews and approves/disapproves the ILS portions of all Material Release Statements, outlining reasons for disapproving and offering corrective proposals/remedies. Serves as the principal source of information on logistic matters for the assigned system(s), responsible for keeping the Project Manager and Readiness Functional Directors informed of ILS acquisition status of assigned programs. Represent ILS at conferences and meetings to implement decisions that bind the organization to a course of action.
