This position is at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. This position serves as a Facility Management Specialist.
This is a term appointment, not to exceed three years.
Duties
As a Facility Management Specialist, you will:
Oversee the management and operations of agency buildings, grounds, and other facilities to include the parking garage. Oversee construction and renovation project planning, scheduling, and execution.
Review and/or develop engineering drawings, space plans, construction and renovation documents, and ensure the proper filing and archiving.
Serve as the key point of contact and building liaison to agency senior level management in matters pertaining to facilities operations and space management, providing facilities management advice and guidance.
Serve as the agency's representative and as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in all matters relating to contracts and subcontracts for building management and other related services.
Serve as the point of contact for the receipt, analysis, and development of facilities operating and capital budget items, including reviewing related budget requests submitted by agency program managers for such items as furniture. Manage the real estate leases for all NCUA.
Ensure compliance with leasing terms and conditions used for leased office space.
Serve as the lead point of contact for maintaining and updating quarterly OCFO COOP mission essential function and emergency response planning guides and related documentation.
Requirements

Qualifications
Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
All applicants applying for the CU-13 level must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 level obtained in the private or public sector. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:
Conducting facilities planning and maintenance;
Oversight of acquisition of contracted equipment, services, and/or supplies; and
Providing facilities management-related guidance to customers.
