Duties

Plans, manages, and executes complex assignments in a recognized administrative field essential to the accomplishment of organizational unit goals. Independently plans, coordinates, and performs a recognized administrative function. Analyzes program/process effectiveness and recommends changes on policies, processes, and/or resources that affect program objectives. Uses initiative and resourcefulness in deviating from traditional methods. Provide support to FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) Officer by maintaining log, providing information, and preparing responses to FOIA requests. Coordinate and communicate with NIST staff and members of the public. Review records and initial disclosure determinations for accuracy and compliance with FOIA requirements. Requires extensive knowledge of FOIA procedural requirements and use of exemptions. Coordinates with NIST organizational units to prepare complete and accurate submission request packages to OMB for information collections in accordance with the requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act. Manage multiple projects concurrently and ensure required timelines are being met.
