About the Position: Serves with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Joint Personal Property Shipping Offices-NW, Joint Base Lewis -McChord, WA.

Duties

Monitor Late Pickup and Late deliveries, and inadequate equipment to detect trends. Inspect Transportation Service Providers warehouses to ensure compliance with DoD contracts. Utilize Defense Personal Property System and Electronic Transportation Operational System. Utilize Army Sustainment Command Tracking system to monitors contracts. Work with Claims advisor to verify claims against the Government and Carriers. Contracting Officers representative on contracted transportation services provided by Transportation Service Providers (TSP). Answer inquires on matters pertaining to shipment of personal property within the continental United States and overseas. Maintain transportation providers files to include origin and destination forms. Issue Letters of Warning (LOW) and Letters of Suspension (LOS) for substandard service by carriers.
