Duties

You will serve as a team member working with customer organizations to customize services to meet specific customer requirements within Information Warfare systems. You will interpret circuit wiring, logic cable diagrams, drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete systems. and equipment. You will understand the function and interconnections of the various assemblies and troubleshoot the system. You will set up and operate standard electronic test equipment to perform various circuit repair procedures. You will support the development of circuit engineering and technical planning documentation for these designs. You will analyze cost, schedule, and manpower requirements to provide solutions to meet customer needs. You will participate in scheduling and progress meetings, design reviews, contract inputs and life cycle management planning.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 411 Entry level within 12 months of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying elements of troubleshooting and repair, hardware and software installation, operation, and maintenance, and basic system and electronic theory. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Education

Education may be substituted in accordance with the following:

Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree
