You will serve as a ACCOUNTABLE PROPERTY SYSTEM OF RECORDS ASSISTANT MANAGER in the LOGISTICS and ORDANCE DEPARTMENT (N4) of COMMODORE SPECIAL WARFARE GRP ONE.

Duties

You will begin Serve as the Naval Special Warfare Group ONE (NSWG-1) Accountable Property System of Records (APSR) Assistant in meeting all FIAR requirements. You will will provide guidance and direction to lower echelon General Equipment (GE) Program Manager to ensure accuracy and validity of personal property databases. You will evaluate plans and provisions of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and develops alternatives when required that are in alignment with FIAR policies and requirements. You will Provides oversight management and technical guidance for the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program. You will recommend corrective procedures and provides explanations for variance from the quality indicator standards established by higher authorities as related to the GCPC Program and its management. You will be responsible to ensure GCPC and Fuels Fleet Card Program (FCP) are in accordance with NAVSUPINST 4200.99. You will conduct surveillance, inspections, and audits of cardholder accounts/statements to ensure compliance with Public Law and policy.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning and carrying out a Property Accountability Program, including analyzing and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, policy administration, and controlling operations under a Property Accountability System (e.g. DPAS), managing micro purchasing activities of a high volume of Government Purchase Card (GPC) holders and approving officials AND assisting in establishing policies that will ensure both strategic goals of the program and the corporate needs of the command.
