You will serve as a EDUCATIONAL TECHNICIAN (ADMIN OFFICER) to the Academic Provost at the NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will assemble report information or responses related to academic procedure inquiries.
You will receive and respond to inquiries and high volume of daily visitors, emails and phone calls and must be able to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
You will coordinate with academia, vendors and representatives of other organizations to communicate training requirements, policies, and procedures.
You will process time and attendance, travel requests, and awards in accordance with policies.
You will check data for accuracy, errors, and make necessary budget adjustments.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advises and assists with administrative procedures and policies in a college/university environment; 2) Coordinates, plans, assigns, oversees and reviews the activities of clerical and educational technician staff; 3) Plans, develops, and manages academic administration programs necessary for day-to-day operations in an educational setting.
GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with administrative procedures and policies in a college/university environment; 2)Responding to requests for information; 3)Preparing travel orders and vouchers.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
