You will serve as a Supervisory Educational Specialist in the Dean of Admissions of NAVAL ACADEMY.
Duties
You will brief admission policies and procedures to candidates to a public audience.
You will collaborate with faculty and staff to provide feedback and changes to guidelines in matters relating to admissions.
You will maintain accurate and complete data for a large number of members of an organization so proper resources are accessible to prospective students.
You will work and support an institution of higher education in the Office of Admissions.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following in an academic environment: 1) Providing college admissions services to students, parents, and educational professionals; 2) Planning events (i.e., school visits, candidate visits, weekend forums, etc.) focused on fostering relationships for an Office of Admissions in an institution of higher education; and 3) Using admissions related software to provide support in an Office of Admissions.
