You will serve as a EDUCATION SPECIALIST (LEAD INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR) in the International Program Office (IPO) of NAVAL ACADEMY.

Duties
You will have experience in a college/university environment coordinating with faculty and midshipmen on official travel.
You will review training and travel requests for additional operating funds.
You will prepare annual and quarterly budget estimates; and maintaining financial and trip records for faculty and midshipmen.
You will be providing liaison with external partners for coordination of travel itineraries.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Having experience in a college/university environment coordinating with faculty and midshipmen on official travel; 2) Reviewing training and travel requests for additional operating funds; 3) Preparing annual and quarterly budget estimates; and maintaining financial and trip records for faculty and midshipmen and; 4) Providing liaison with external partners for coordination of travel itineraries.
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Having experience in a college/university environment assisting with coordinating with faculty and midshipmen on official travel; 2) Assisting with reviewing training and travel requests for additional operating funds; 3) Assisting with preparing annual and quarterly budget estimates; and maintaining financial and trip records for faculty and midshipmen and; 4) Coordinating with external partners to issue travel itineraries.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
