About the Position: Serves as a Doctrine Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army-wide Doctrine Publishing Program (DPP). Eligible for situational telework only, including emergency and OPM prescribed "unscheduled telework".

Duties

Serves as a Doctrine Analyst responsible for writing, maintaining, and managing the developmental processes and production of doctrinal manuals, pamphlets, and regulatory portions of the Army's Doctrine Publishing Program (DPP). Serves as the CADD Lead for coordination of all programmatic activities throughout the TRADOC headquarters. Serves as the lead CAC POC for TRADOC doctrinal status reports to include development of policy, coordination proponent input, conducting analysis, and refinement of the reported doctrine information to discern readiness impact. Serve as the CAC primary CAC doctrine point of contact and member of the Functional Community (FC) 32 Competency Management Working Group for the GS 301 Doctrine Developers Career Field. Incumbent is the primary CADD point of contact for the TRADOC Army-wide DPP.

  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 15% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
