About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) and future headquarters of ARMY CYBER COMMAND (ARCYBER). It is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. Ft Eisenhower's location offers close proximity to a metropolitan area and is an easy drive from Atlanta, Savannah, the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.
Duties
Responsible for the daily operations, as well as planning, coordinating, and providing intensive management for all actions related to the development of capability documents and testing to include training, fielding and control of equipment/systems.
Assists the Army Capability Manager, as the primary user representative, for those Equipment/Systems they represent, coordinates user requirements with various staff elements of the Army Futures Command (AFC).
Coordinates training, testing, logistics, and personnel issues internal to the CCOE and oversees all user actions for the fielding and training of Equipment/Systems
Serves as the team's principal point of contact in planning, coordinating and managing overall new equipment programs for operations, maintenance supervision, management, and support of equipment/systems.
Provide expert level advice on the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) Cyber Capabilities and Integration System (CCIDS), Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP) and Army) Capability Development processes.
Fully participates with the Director in military and civilian personnel management functions.
Assigns projects based on individual capabilities and workload; provides policy, technical and tactical guidance as required; plans work to be accomplished by subordinates.
Oversees AFC development of: Training literature, training courses; instructional media, doctrine and tactics training (DTT).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Serving as a technical advisor/project manager for cyberspace operations and supporting technology to recommend equipment/systems development, objectives, and user requirements; (2) Developing and/or implementing policies to resolve issues and provide effective applications to cyberspace programs; (3) Overseeing a team of subordinate staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
