About the Position: This position is with U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command Integrated Logistics Support Center Assistant Directorate for Communications Security Logistics Activity Cryptographic Key Division located in Fort Huachuca, Arizona This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Plans, directs, and supervise the activities of subordinates. Directs a variety of analysis, design, and coordination tasks related to cryptographic key management within the organization and with other Services and Agencies. Plans, directs, organizes, and evaluates short and long-range COMSEC logistics management studies. Represents the command in conferences, committees, panels, or working groups with other government organizations and commercial companies. Provides advice and counsel to employees on work and administrative matters; resolves informal complaints and grievances. Coordinates development and day-to-day implementation of major complex COMSEC/INFOSEC/IA projects that cross functional lines.

Requirements

  • Incumbent must complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Qualifications

Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02 or GS-11). Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 grade level in the Federal service, which includes advising on policies and procedures related to logistics resource management; formulating, developing, implementing, reviewing, and/or evaluating various current and future Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), Information Security (INFOSEC), and/or COMSEC plans and programs. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 10 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03 CECOM Management Analyst is $88,525 to $136,852. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
