You will serve as a SUPERVISORY TEST MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN & LABS GROUP, CHINA LAKE RANGES DEPT, RANGE OPERATIONS DIV of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will provide overall direction, management, and coordination of test events conducted on the China Lake Land Ranges, to ensure all customer test requirements are met. You will review and approve test plans and scenarios in the Test Resource Management System. You will ensure the required range resources are available when testing is conducted. You will provide leadership and project coordination in working with multi-discipline teams to accomplish test projects.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Managing testing for electronic warfare; 2) Demonstrating knowledge of Flight Termination System; 3) Leading a team, developing test plans and organizing training; 4) Coaching and mentoring test management team members; 5) Solving and mitigating risk with test managers and customers; 6) Demonstrating experience with The Range Resource Catalog and Test Resource Management System.
