This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence-Office of Foreign Assets Control, OFAC. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for providing in-depth research and analysis on program and statute-related matters and for ensuring that the staff has a well-ordered and efficient office regarding all administrative tasks and duties.

The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Review, evaluate, and recommend changes to program priorities, objectives, and goals including short and long-range goals and strategies.
Develop suggestions, recommendations, and conclusions that consider and give appropriate weight to uncertainties regarding the data and other variables that affect long-range program performance.
Adapt analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to develop new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines, and automating work processes.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience for the GS-12: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
Overseeing and performing a variety of administrative management practices and procedures and organizational techniques; AND
Working with and knowledge of automated office systems such as word processing , databases, graphics presentation, and spreadsheet software; AND
Experience in independently carrying out assignments in records and office management; AND
Making travel arrangements and scheduling domestic and international travel (knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations is preferred).
Specialized experience for the GS-11: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
Performing administrative management practices and procedures and organizational functions; AND
Working with automated office systems such as word processing, databases, graphics presentation, and spreadsheet software); AND
Experience in records and office management; AND
Making travel arrangements and scheduling travel (knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulations is preferred).
OR
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
You may qualify based on the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized experience for the GS-09: You must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent in responsibility and scope to the GS-07 level. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
Performing administrative management practices and procedures and organizational functions; AND
Working with automated office systems (word processing, databases, graphics presentation, and spreadsheet software;
OR
You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:
Master's (or equivalent graduate degree) or completed 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree.
OR
You may qualify based on the equivalent combination of education and experience.
