Duties
The United States Space Force (USSF) at Peterson Space Force Base is searching for a Manpower Management Analyst for HQ SpOC/S1M (NH-0343-03, GS12/13 equivalent).
Description:
Join our team of dynamic manpower professionals as we transform Space Operations Command (SpOC) into a high performing organization. Opportunity to work with a diverse team of HQ SpOC Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Mission Area Teams (MATs), Delta and Squadron leadership teams. Help up as we mold and shape SpOC operations postured for continued space domain dominance.
Primary duties include Manpower and organization Strategic Advisor to HQ SpOC, Delta and Squadron leadership teams. Evaluates and staffs Organizational Change Request (OCR) packages, processes Manpower Change Requests (MCR), performs data mining and position history research using the Manpower Programming and Execution System, performs manpower studies and unit manpower analysis.
Ideal Candidate:
Candidate should have manpower experience, poses a diverse manpower experience (requirements, organization, management engineering, etc), MAJCOM experience-optional, minimum associate degree, and diverse manpower training history.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S Citizen.
- PCS and Incentives funding is available.
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at: https://afciviliancareers.com/regulatory/
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- May be required travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- This position is eligible for telework 2-4 days a pay period.
- This position will close after 5 business or 75 applications.
