Duties
You will perform a variety of general office and clerical tasks.
You will types correspondence (lost ID card, assistance letters; DO forms: DO 1173, DD 1172, DD 2MC, DD 2MC (RESI, and DD 2 (RET); and OP Form 55.
You will operates RAPIDS utilizing the highest level software to update primary data within DEERS database.
You will assist the remote RAPIDS sites In their communication or DEERS/RAPIDS issues and problems.
You will answer telephones, giving correct Information and authoritative interpretation of rules concerning ID card eligibility, procedures for obtaining ID cards and DEERS enrollment.
You will interview personnel to ascertain proof of eligibility for federal government Identification card and to update personal data in the DEERS.
You will set up and maintains files of correspondence, circulars, regulations bulletins, and order select file material for destruction or transfer to records depositories.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Research, Interprets, and Implements current directives, regulations, and policies pertaining to ID cards, DEERS/RAPIDS information, benefit eligibility; Makes independent determinations, resolves problems.
