Duties
You will continuously improve customer products and services across all range operations by applying effective technical, business and management practices.
You will provide management, coordination, and documentation support for all China Lake Range programs.
You will design, plan, and schedule tests performed on the CLR’s and integrate facilities, instrumentation, threats, and multi-group teams to support customer test activities.
You will manage direct customer funding.
You will develop and publish Range schedules.
You will work with other divisions in scheduling range assets.
You will determine operational priorities and provide management support for the China Lake Range Rated Service Account.
You will track and manage DPA resources, multiple customer funding documents, budget projections, and have command oversite of Range Scheduling.
You will manage resources (physical and financial), communicate orally and in writing, and supervise/ lead a technically diverse and complex organization.

Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS 9-12) grade level or NM-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Improving customer products and services across all range operations by applying effective technical, business and management practices; 2) Managing direct customer funding; 3) Developing and publishing Range schedules; 4) Determining operational priorities and providing management support for a Rated Service Account; 5) Tracking and managing DPA resources, multiple customer funding documents, and budget projections; and 6) Managing resources (physical and financial), communicating orally and in writing, and supervising/ leading a technically diverse and complex organization.
