About the Position: Serve as a Senior Program Manager for Army Partnerships in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 (ODCS, G-9). Relocation incentive MAY be authorized subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations.

Duties

Apply technical knowledge to ensure schedules and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established milestones. Convene regular in progress reviews to maintain productive interaction with all stakeholders. Develop detailed program strategies to ensure proper sequencing of events, work efforts, and resources to accomplish objectives. Provide feedback to leadership and stakeholders informally and formally.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary business travel up to 20%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing and/or employing tools and/or methods to track progress throughout the life cycle of programs specialized for promoting and managing intergovernmental support agreements (IGSA) IAW 10 USC 2679, Intergovernmental Support Agreements (IGSA); using quantitative analysis and/or management information systems to monitor cost avoidance and savings achieved annually through the Intergovernmental Support Agreements (IGSA) program; and identifying resource requirements, manpower and/or funding to implement objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
